remember when we looked at all the stars in the sky? I remember staring at them, not realizing you weren’t listening to anything I had up say. You showed me all the constalations.
it amazes me that you see so many when you’re at sea. more than I ever will in my lifetime. I can’t say I’m not jealous. I wish I had that opportunity but I know, if I can see the North Star so can you.
and these last few nights have been rough. I’ve missed you more. longed for an email and heard nothing. but I know, I know you see the stars too. crazy ideas float around in my head. I had a dream I enlisted. maybe it’s because I’m jealous you see all the stars, or maybe I want to stop worrying about money. but they’re all just crazy ideas I’ll never be able to live.
the dogs snore so loudly at night and sometimes I wake up thinking you’d be there. only 6 more months to go.
